Course learning outcomes |
- Student knows the rules for creating technical drawings, mechanical and electrical
- Student knows the basics of AutoCAD and its main tools and is able to cite and describe the basic drawing and editing commands
- Student is able to create a simple AutoCAD technical drawing and make their basic editing and is able obtain a printout of the drawing

Programme learning outcomes |
- Knowledge and understanding at an advanced level - facts, theories, methods and complex relationships between them in the field of scientific disciplines related to the field of study, in particular: Automation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Informatics and Telecommunications, including the theoretical foundations of designing control and regulation systems and programming automation and robotics systems. Understanding principles of operation of devices and the basics of technologies (including informatics) used in automation and robotics systems.
- Ability to plan and perform experiments, especially in the field of prototyping new control and identification algorithms, critical data analysis, interpretation, presentation and discussion of results,
preparation of documentation and communication with the environment using specialized terminology and using appropriate IT tools.

Basic knowledge of standardized elements of technical drawing: mechanical and electrical, and the use of AutoCAD to create and modify 2D drawings. Ability to co-create technical documentation. |

Course content |
Normal elements of technical drawing. Rectangular projection, views, full and revolved sections (projection rules, views, sections, half-views, half and part sections, cutting and breaking of elements, hatching rules, drawing parts with repeating elements etc.). Dimensioning rules. Electrical technical drawings (classification of drawings, grafical electrical symbols, electrical equipment labels, instructions for the electrical technical drawing preparing etc.). Modern tools for technical documentation design. Using of the AutoCAD program. Basis of program. Data and commands input. Basic drawing and editing commands. Complex dimensioning. Preparing drawings for plotting. Multidrawing work.
